The meaning behind MTC
My why has a name.
Milan Tee Cal is my daughter and the first meaning of MTC. I want more time together, more memories and more choice over how our life looks. I also want something that gives me a sense of achievement as Luce, as well as being her mam.
I’m proud of my corporate career. My goal is to build another option so that, in time, I can choose how much I work and have more freedom to be there for her.
Now I want to help other women explore what this could look like for them. Whether you love your career, are at home with the kids or are figuring out what comes next, you’re allowed to want more options.
Because sometimes you don’t need to change your whole life overnight. You just need to be motivated enough to take the first step.

I got my smile back.
If you’ve found me through a happy holiday video, there’s a part of my life you might not have seen. I live with long term anxiety, depression and bipolar. There have been nights I’ve cried myself to sleep and times when I’ve struggled to see a way forward. Being a mam and having a successful career didn’t mean I was okay.
This business found me through my love of travel. I started on a whim, thinking, “Let’s just give it a go.” I wanted to travel smarter and earn commission on my own holidays. I wasn’t planning a new career or imagining everything it could become.
But as I got involved, I realised this isn’t just about booking holidays. It was becoming something of my own, with friendships, confidence and more options for me and my daughter. That meant more to me than I could have expected.
Medication and therapy have been part of looking after my mental health. Building this business has given me friendships, a sense of purpose and things to look forward to. Little by little, I’ve found more confidence and started to feel like myself again.
I still live with these conditions and I still have difficult days. I’m a mam, I have my corporate job, and I’m proud of the woman I’m becoming. All of those things are part of my life, and that’s a huge part of why I share this.
The holidays and extra income mean a lot. So does being able to look at a photo and recognise my own smile again.
